What exactly is a 'housewarming party'?

I was invited to one but I am not entirely sure what it is, besides a party of some kind.

I know you don't exactly have friends but how do you not know what a housewarming party is?

It is not something I was invited to back in Inazuma due to the nature of my role as the Shogun. This is the first time I have heard of it.

All I am aware of is that it is something people do when they get a new home, but not what it IS, exactly.

[He could tell her outright, that it's no more than an excuse humans use to get together when they've moved into a new home. A simple party is easy enough to explain, however he does wonder... Certainly if he made a joke she'd be able to tell right?]

It's what it sounds like. Some ritual to ensure the new home stays warm that the humans don't freeze in the winter.

Oh! I wasn't aware it was so important of a matter.

That would make it all the more imperative that I attend, to ensure that ritual is completed for them.
