knowing it all am i destined to fall

Who: Scaramouche & Kazuha
What: Tube log
When: December? this definitely isn't years late
Where: Kaedehara house
Warnings: Sads, Body tube things

[It's been some time since Kazuha began his journey into crafting swords - since the small forge was built in their yard, and he'd leave or return to the man busy at work. Days where the immortal would find he was left alone in the house, while his mortal has his attention held elsewhere. Occupying all of the samurai's time isn't his intention, perfectly content to have moments to himself - time for his own studies or activities - however he also spends a decent amount of time away from the mortal regularly between those studies and work. Time enough that when the doll is home he sometimes wants for attention when he doesn't have any.

It's one of those days as when Kazuha is heading out to the forge, and Kunikuzushi finds himself following behind. He knows he would never be denied to simply sit and watch the samurai work, especially if he's out of the way and not causing distraction - so he takes a seat on the blueprint desk. It's not quite what he wants, craving more attention than the presence of company, but it's far better than waiting around for the samurai to take the nonexistent hint and come to him on his own. Not while the man was preoccupied with his forge - waiting on that could take hours.

Waiting in silence could also take hours, something the doll finds his thoughts shifting to after only a few minutes pass, the mortal barely even starting on his project. Could he really sit there silently, swinging his legs as he waited for a day of work to end? The gaze he keeps on the man is intense as he mulls the question over. It was at least pleasing to watch Kazuha work, getting to admire a rare seen strength, otherwise more subtly toned muscles as he worked with metal. Kunikuzushi certainly didn't lack a view in the forge, but that view good as it is, isn't going to keep him entertained for hours.

Certainly Kazuha could manage to focus on his work while also entertaining him with some conversation.]

Hm to be a sword... I also wish I had a bladesmith to bend me over an anvil.

[He sighs, voice even as he speaks, as though it's some pointless mundane idle chatter and not something entirely meant to draw the samurai's attention to him. Perhaps he's not so good at the whole sitting and looking pretty when he wants something.]
